The Hon Charles Anthony Pearson

Charles Pearson was born in 1956 to Lt.-Col. Weetman John Churchill Pearson, 3rd Viscount Cowdray and his wife Elizabeth (nee Mather-Jackson). He is the youngest son and his elder brother is now the 4th Viscount Cowdray.

Charles married Baroness Benedicte Blixen-Finecke in 1992. They have two children Carinthia and George. They have homes in West Sussex and Aberdeenshire.

Charles Pearson is a Director of The Cowdray Estate Trust Ltd, The Dickinson Trust Ltd and the Cabardunn Development Company Ltd.

As the principle partner in the Dunecht Home Farms Partnership, Charles manages a farming business which operates over 3,000 acres in Aberdeenshire. Other businesses on the farm include the production of cereals and oilseed rape and the rearing of cattle and sheep.

Charles Pearson is also President of the West Sussex Association for Disabled People. His leisure pastimes include riding, fishing, walking and shooting. He is the holder of a UK ATPL/H/IR. Both Charles and his wife are keen supporters of polo.
